Eggucation

Food science and sustainable food production. This South Yorkshire company quite literally brings biology to life. Students are able to see it and touch it in action. They don’t forget the chicks, and the associated STEAM we sneak in, is hooked onto that experience.

Many many of our young people are not fortunate enough to experience links between their food and where it come from. Experiencing what is a major ‘food animal’ in a one-to-one way allows that connection to begin and to hopefully be explored in food choices throughout life.

Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust
